Thanks for your interest in becoming a Where Am I?! leader for the class of 2019!
Here’s an overview of the entire leader application, selection and training process:
- Sunday, February 1st at 11:59pm – Leader applications are due.
- February 6th – 8th – Interviews of all applicants by the WAI Planning Team
- On or before Monday, February 23rd – Results of the selection process will be posted.
- Friday, March 20th – Accept/decline deadline for all selected leaders.
- Monday, May 25th – Friday, May 29th – Spring Training Week – MANDATORY!!!
- Tuesday, September 1st – Fall Training Day – MANDATORY!!!
- Wednesday, September 2nd to Saturday, September 5th – Where Am I?! 2015
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT TRAINING: The training sessions for WAI leaders, both spring and fall, are essential! The program cannot function unless you, as a leader, know as much as possible about where you are! All prospective leaders MUST commit to being present for all training events during these days.
Rides will be available to the Albany airport at the end of Spring Training and from the airport in time for the beginning of Fall Training.
If you’re also applying to be a WOOLF leader or a JA, don’t let that discourage you from applying to be a WAI leader. You may apply to all programs and decide after you’ve been notified of your acceptance.
If you have any questions about the application process, please don’t hesitate to contact Kiki Landers (ccl4@williams.edu), Scott Shelton (sas3@williams.edu) or Nate Thompson (njt1@williams.edu).
Please complete the application questions with care, as your responses will be the selection team’s first introduction to you and to your interest in the program.
We look forward to meeting you! Thanks for applying!
